I found a web site that just has parts for old laptops and I was able to put in the brand and model and it brought up a list of parts. I hadn't thought of new egg but will look at it. Thanks for the suggestion. I lost track of your situation. How have things been going? What did the doctor say about the MRI?
Do some comparison shopping on the interwebz and I’m sure you’ll be able to find your fan cheaper!
As for the MRI, it hasn’t happened yet. I was supposed to have it at the beginning of August. But my Medicare kicked in at the beginning of August and the way the Neuro wrote out the MRI order Medicare wasn’t going to cover it. So she had to rewrite it. And rewrite it again. But the paperwork is finally all in order and I get the four MRI’s next week on the 8th and 9th.
I did get a lumbar puncture done a couple of weeks ago, though. Mainly because my Neuro noticed fluid leaking from my ears (as opposed to ear wax) and put that together with my vision problems, headaches, everything-else-aches, and thought it could be intracranial hypertension. She was right. My opening pressure was 35 (anything over 25 is abnormal), so now I’m on new medication for that but my headaches are still as bad as ever. They are supposed to be doing test on the cerebral-spinal fluid they took out of me, one of the tests being for MS. From what I understand the tests are done, but nobody will give me the results. I don’t see my Neuro again until October, and my primary doc wants my Neuro to discuss the results with me, so at this point I have no idea what the results are. But I’ll keep you posted!

Awww, kitty snuggles and a nice cup of hot herbal tea! Put that together with a good book and meds that work, and I’ve got the perfect evening.

- Me: Oh, I can't. Tomorrow I'm having a lumbar puncture.
- Scheduler: Ok, so tomorrow won't be good.
- Me: No, I imagine it won't be a good day at all.

What celebrity do you most resemble?
I was told once that I resemble Katy Sagal or, more specifically, Peggy Bundy (from Married With Children). I don’t see it. I think it’s the red hair. I would much rather look more like Katy Sagal as Gemma in Sons of Anarchy. She kicks ass and I love her. ;)
