That’s insane. Is there any indication of why they gave you the diagnosis they did especially when the truth was in your record?

That’s what I’m trying to wrap my head around. There was no reason not to tell me! The only thing I can think of is he, my primary doctor, didn’t read the scan results. He treated me for two years after the scans, performing test after test to rule out other disorders, possibly without realizing the real diagnoses was right there in my file. I have to give him the benefit of the doubt, without forgiving him for the complacency of not reading the results of the scans. I just can’t believe he would willingly withhold that information from me.
